Thuan An City is a large-scale industrial and service urban area in the South of Binh Duong Province; Connecting the Northern urban system of Binh Duong Province with Ho Chi Minh City; Being an important traffic hub of the province and Ho Chi Minh City region; Having an important role in national security and defense.

An Son is a purely agricultural commune of Thuan An City. When aiming to upgrade the urban area, the infrastructure here is increasingly spacious, the urban appearance is increasingly clear. The construction of An Son 01 road has upgraded many rural roads to cement concrete, asphalt, basically creating convenience for people to travel.

The project was built by Nguyen Cat Company as the main contractor (joint venture) for the section outside Thanh Le Residential Area from Sau Ho Bridge to An Son 42 Street with a total length of nearly 1,600m, invested by the Thi Xa Thuan An Project Management Board, and successfully completed and handed over in 2017, contributing to the construction of increasingly spacious and clean roads and alleys.

Upgrading An Son Street continues to focus on investing more in traffic infrastructure to promote the potential and strengths of the riverside commune, contributing to completing the standards to become a ward.
