The Chom Sao - Suoi Don drainage axis project is one of the province's key projects to prevent widespread flooding in Binh Nham and Hung Dinh wards, Thuan An town.

The Chom Sao - Suoi Don drainage axis project was implemented in November 2019, and by 2020 it had been completed and accepted for use.

The project designs and installs protective railings (on both sides of the canal) for rectangular open canals belonging to the Chom Sao - Suoi Don canal basin, 250m long. Nguyen Cat Company has won the bid for the Chom Sao Canal, Cu Dinh Main Branch, Cu Dinh Branch 2 and Cu Dinh Branch 3; After the project is completed, the railing system will ensure safety for people and rudimentary vehicles passing through the route.

The investor cooperated with the contractor to speed up the construction progress and clear the diversion route to limit flooding during heavy rains. After completion, the flooding caused by heavy rains was basically resolved, creating stable conditions for the people of Binh Nham ward.
